Misty was also good to work with, though I wish she hadn't told me about the last minute wrench in the works on a Friday when we couldn't fix it or develop a new solution until the following Monday. She did do a great job finding us a new title company and rushing the paperwork so we could close on time. The rest of the team and their work seemed disjointed. Information I had already provided wasn't shared appropriately, resulting in frustrated phone calls. I also didn't care for how the partner realtor conveyed information between me, the lending team, and the seller's agent. It felt slapdash and inconsiderate of my privacy. In the end, we ended up with a lovely home and a mortgage that fits our needs.

Mike was very helpful, supportive, and knowledgeable throughout the whole process. He's a valuable asset for the company. But, I did not appreciate the other staff members that dropped the ball repeatedly throughout the underwriting and closing portion of the process. There was constant miscommunication and failure to give me correct instructions. When I would ask why I wasn't told about several issues earlier no one would take responsibility. I'm an A-type personality so I emailed several times asking if there was anything else I needed and was basically treated like I was annoying others with statements like "We'll let you know if we need anything else." An hour before closing is an unacceptable time to tell me things I'm missing. Someone should've seen that I needed it days before. There just wasn't any sense of urgency from the people I talked to. And, there should've been - it was their fault I missed my first closing date. It was their fault my parents gift was wired to the wrong place and so on and so forth. It made the process way more stressful than it needed to be. I also would not reccomend servicelink for closing. They did not communicate directions well for a first time buyer. With that said - I will absolutely reccomend peoples mortgage teachers next door to my fellow teachers with a caveat to be ON TOP of whoever's responsible for the underwriting/closing portion of the process and do not use servicelink. I hope this constructive criticism is helpful. Thank you for providing this service and helping me buy my dream home. I really appreciate it.
